Meet Matheus Neves

University of Tampa

The University of Tampa has felt like home ever since I first toured the campus. My hook towards the University was the prestigious education that the Sykes College of Business provided with its AACSB accreditation. I currently am pursuing a B.S. in International Business & Marketing with a minor in Finance. I can proudly say that I believe the courses offered at UT allowed me to be better prepared and successful for my future career. The small class sizes allowed me to have greater personalized guidance from my professors which helped me elevate my understanding for the topics at hand. UT also offers various clubs to participate in no matter your background. With these opportunities, it has allowed my communication skills and teamwork skills to grow profoundly.

Study Abroad Experience

I was fortunate enough to study abroad for a semester at EDHEC Business School in Nice, France. EDHEC provided me incredible insight for business on a global perspective. This experience not only helped me grow my knowledge in finance, but International Business, as I learned how business differed in Europe compared to the US. Being abroad also allowed me to become skilled in speaking french, as I had various encounters with speaking to locals in my everyday life and during my studies.
